    The Opportunity

    The Digital Delivery organization has embarked on a new journey to build and deliver new digital services and solutions to make it easy for Patelco members to manage their financial life.  In building the department, we are seeking to add a highly motivated, collaborative product manager to the team to lead and execute our omni-channel account origination roadmap.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience in user-centric product and forms design along with your knack for rallying teams of engineers and designers to build and deliver simple experiences for easy account opening with Patelco.  



    As part of the Digital Product Management team, you’ll be responsible for translating our high-level strategic vision for omni-channel account origination into a member-centric product roadmap and leading its execution.  As a product manager, you’ll develop the product strategy, lead the day-to-day management of those features/functions/experiences, initiate and prioritize projects and create the go-to-market plans.  This role will work closely with other product managers on the team, as well as cross functional partners across branches, call center, operations, IT, business product areas and third party vendors.


    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Owning, developing and executing product vision, strategy and roadmap. Continually iterate to ensure member and internal team member needs are met and that our account origination experience remains competitive. 
    • Defining end-to-end experiences, drive requirements, build and manage roadmaps and backlogs, and prioritize the work.
    • Ongoing measurement and optimization of the application funnel to improve conversion rates
    • Leading development of new features from concept to launch through the entire digital development life cycle – from research to ideation and prototyping to measuring and iterating.
    • Develop job aids and standard operating procedures for the account origination process
    • Working with a cross-functional team of designers, developers and external partners in an agile environment to enhance our online and mobile products.
    • Testing and learning through customer research, production tests, and performance analysis to evolve our products and define rollout strategies.
    • Leading research, testing, metrics analysis, data insights and experimentation to inform decisions and optimize conversion.  
    • Partnering with key internal stakeholders and external vendor partners to translate business strategies into digital features that delight our customers and internal end users.
    • Understanding member and team member pain points, assist in defining solutions and bringing them to life.
    • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies/AI, fintech innovations and digital banking trends to inform product direction and strategy.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Human-Center Design or equivalent field preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital product management
    • Experience with application forms design strongly preferred
    • Financial services experience strongly preferred
    • Experience using Google Analytics
    • Strong understanding and working experience utilizing design-thinking best practices– empathy, requirements definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing to deliver digital products and experiences
    • Technically savvy with experience working with designers and developers to craft usable experiences
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • An obsession with customer experience and making good experiences great.

    • An ability to turn business strategy and analysis into user-friendly digital products.
    • Ability to think outside-the-box and proven track record of rolling out a combination of core + innovative products

    • Creative self-starter with can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
    • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional organization
    • Ability to consistently prioritize workflow with heavy emphasis based on business impact.
