    The Opportunity: 

    The Vice President, Planning will lead the strategic planning process for the organization.  This role is responsible for creating the framework for the annual and long-term strategic planning process, identifying business challenges, and leading the organization in creating the 1, 3 and 5 year strategic plan.  In partnership with the Executive Leadership Team, the VP will drive strategic consensus decisions that support change management and maintains strong communications with all leaders of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    Duties:

    • Directs and coordinates short, medium and long-range strategic planning activities across the organization
    • Manages all program aspects including workflow, scheduling, executions, monitoring and evaluating the annual planning process
    • Identifies, analyzes and monitors external and internal environments that could affect the strategic plan and makes recommendations for change
    • Partners with Lending, Retail, Marketing, and Finance leaders to ensure an in-depth analysis of market conditions and product innovation is being incorporated into the planning process and makes recommendations for shift in strategy as needed
    • Oversight role regarding achievement of the strategic plan, including monitoring/managing key objectives/goals
    • Researches, leads, and collaborates with other leaders across multiple functions to develop strategic plan design and implementation tactics required for flawless execution across delivery channels
    • Works across the organization to support strategic initiatives including market entry/exit, new product development, and regulatory impacts
    • Ensures alignment, investment and support of initiatives to effectively execute against strategic plan
    • Ensures all strategic planning is consistent with our mission and brand
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other relevant related field required
    • 10 years minimum experience in the same or similar role
    • Proficient in MS applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Effectively communicates internally and externally.
    • Assists in communications and presentations with senior management, committees, and other financial institutions.
    • Outstanding business writing skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to work cross-functionally
    • Effectively collaborates, cooperates, and leads through others to achieve organizational goals
