  • Overview

    In this role, responsibilities will include providing support to the Learning and Development team. Additional support within the HR Division may be required upon request.

    Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and employee performance.    Maintains training library resources and distributes materials to managers and team members as needed.    Provides support in the planning and implementation of large events and meetings.  Responsible for basic administration of the Learning Management System, LinkedIn Learning Platform. Takes lead in scheduling team members for courses, completing course prep work, closing rosters, and preparing reports. Assists with miscellaneous assignments as needed.

    The successful candidate will be collaborative in working with employees at all levels and deliver a high level of service in meeting the department needs

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures that all HQ classroom courses are scheduled, assigned and prepared in accordance with established standards
    • Collaborate with team to ensure all materials are produced and provided for courses in a timely manner
    • Become familiar with Learning Management System (LMS) Admin functions.
    • Prepare assessments, survey and assist with focus groups.
    • Track all training, survey and evaluation responses and report monthly (or as needed)
    • Responsible for L&D supply orders, supporting department needs, completing all course prep work including scheduling speakers, room set-up, food orders, and setting out materials
    • Manage and maintain training facilities, equipment and supplies
    • Maintain team training records. Retrieve records and provide reports as requested.
    • Performs L&D support functions by answering team member requests and questions. Manages the email activity within the L&D mail box Learnign@patelco.org
    • Assists with onboarding of new hires as they transition to training programs.
    • Reconciles invoices from training vendors
    • Provide high level of service within all departments
    • Develop good working relationship with Branch/Department Managers
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
      • One to two years related business experience is required
      • Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy and attention to detail
      • Excellent communication skills, initiative, judgment and discretion
      • Ability to handle and maintain confidential details and records
      • Eagerness to work in collaboration in fast moving/changing environment
      • Strong teamwork skills
